General Data Protection Regulation

At Kent PA Hire, we take looking after your personal data seriously and therefore we wish to explain to you what we do with your personal data.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requires us to follow a number of procedures and we can hold data on you for the following reasons as our lawful basis:

  • to fulfil our contractual obligations to you; or
  • because you have asked us to do something before entering into a contract (e.g. provide a quote).

We also may hold data to meet our legal obligations in maintaining our tax records.

The data processing must be necessary so we would need your name and contact details so we can send you out a quote and to invoice you for your work. We might hold other data, as part of the contract, such as dates of birth where we undertake work for birthday parties and other events where additional personal data is given for the fulfilment of the contract.

We may hold the personal data after the event, especially where the events are annually run. We reserve the right to contact the event coordinators to identify if future events are to take place to support our availability for any future projects.

Data subjects have the right to contact us if they wish for the data to be amended with new contact information.

For HMRC purposes, we must hold financial records for a minimum of 7 years and customer name and address may be present on the invoices.

For further information on how we strive to be compliant with the GDPR and your personal data, please use our contact page.

The Information Commissioner's Office provides a Guide to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
